Patrick J. Carroll
Patrick John Carroll grew up in Flushing, New York, where he attended Arch Bishop Molloy High School. He later attended Fordham University where he played Rugby and majored in History. Patrick dedicated his life to personal fitness and loved what he did as a personal fitness trainer. In his free time he enjoyed biking, fitness training, all genres of music, swimming, spending time by the water, sunsets, volunteering at the Mid-Hudson Valley Camp (Esopus) and spending meaningful time with his family and friends.
Patrick made everyone who knew him feel as if they were the most important person in the world. His incredible memory of events, people, sports trivia etc. was unmatched and appreciated by all who loved him.
Patrick’s battle with cancer began in 2021 and he fought that battle till the moment his life ended. He lived life to the fullest. He was an inspiration and mentor to all who knew him. His indomitable spirit will live on through all his friendships. His positivity and love for life was his super power. Patrick would do anything for his friends, family and community.
Mission
The mission of the Patrick Carroll Memorial Foundation is to provide financial assistance to youths, who exhibit value and service centric behaviors, the opportunity to further their individual growth and development.
Our goal is to provide financial assistance to youths who strive for personal, academic and/or athletic success and who understand the importance of empathy and kindness.
They should exhibit a demonstrated commitment to Patrick’s own life affirming values, such as: honesty, integrity, inclusivity, courage, humility, trust and care for people, as well as social and environmental responsibility.
The Patrick Carroll Memorial Foundation will also provide consideration of funding for charitable, community-based causes
Vision
Our goal is to keep Patrick's spirit alive in every aspect of life that he so dearly valued. He wanted to see people who deserved to succeed, do just that. We want to help those who are limited be able to pursue opportunities to advance themselves, in Patrick's honor and memory.
